We were made an offer to buy My Thai & Sushi.

Where did the name P Goy come from?

Goy is the owners nickname and most Thai people use a nickname because their birth name is long and hard to pronounce. P is what you put Infront of the name to show respect, just like saying Mrs. Goy.

How do you pronounce Goy?

Pronounce Goy like toy with a G.

What is unique about P Goy’s compared to other restaurants?

We have a wide variety of food to offer at competitive prices and value, also this is our only restaurant and have hands on owners.

Most Thai dishes are prepared by the owner to ensure they come out right. Food is authentic and true to its culture.

Are you affiliated with the other Thai Restaurants in WR?

No we are independently owned and we are not connected to the others in our area.

Why are there so many Thai & Sushi restaurants in WR?

We think the same thing. There are plenty of Thai & Sushi options in WR. Sushi Thai si independantly owned. Thai Pepper, Kin D 96 & Zaap is owned by the same family.

Do you have alcoholic drinks?

At the moment we only have Beer & Wine. We have bottled beer, draft, Sake, wide selection of house wine & plum wine.

Can accommodate allergies & gluten free diets?

Yes, most dishes can be made Gluten Free, Make the request when ordering.

Do you offer anything special for Birthdays?

We offer our Thai Dougnuts as a complimentary dessert for the table. We make then 6 to 8 pieces, enough for a table to share.

Do you take reservations & walk ins?

We take both every day we are open. If you expect more then 8 people, call an make a reservation.

How many can you accept for a reservation?

Up to 25 for reservations 1 week in advance.

Do you offer catering?

Not at the moment, but may in the future.

What makes your Thai food more authentic?

Thai food is supposed to have 4 main taste, Sweet, savory, sour & spicy. Their needs to be a healthy balance of flavors, one can’t overpower the others. Some places make their curries, noodles & other dishes to sweet. Some will naturally be savory and others sweet, but that is with soup.

Has P Goy worked at any restaurants in the area?

P Goy worked at Kin D 96 when it first opened for 3 years and she did so well the first year she became Head Chef for the last 2.

Where is P Goy from in Thailand?

P Goy is from Sara Buri Thailand, a city 1 hour & 40 minutes northeast of Bangkok. Remember what we said about nicknames. Bangkok is the nickname for Thailand’s capital. Bangkok’s full name is, “Krung Thep Mahanakhon Amon Rattanakosin Mahinthara Ayuthaya Mahadilok Phop Noppharat Ratchathani Burirom Udomratchaniwet Mahasathan Amon Piman Awatan Sathit Sakkathattiya Witsanukam Prasit”
